| Mrs. Rehr helps a student with vocabulary |
Felicia Rehr, third grade teacher at Alton, gives her students lots of opportunities to use technology in the classroom. She uses her SMART Board daily - or as she says, she "lives off of it." She uses her own personal iPad in the classroom so that her students can have fun while learning with educational apps. Her students use Spelling City in the classroom as well as for homework, and they participate in distance learning events through videoconferencing whenever they can. Recently, Mrs. Rehr's third graders used netbooks to make Wordles using their vocabulary words. In the near future, she plans to use the netbooks again to do a project using Glogster. Congratulations, Mrs. Rehr! Your students are are having fun by learning with technology!
