Last week, we asked that you PLEASE clean out your downloads folders. This week, we're showing you how to change the destination for Internet downloads so maybe you won't have that build-up again.
In Firefox, click on Firefox > Preferences > General tab > look in the middle "Downloads" section. Click on Choose and change your destination to the Desktop.
In Safari, click on Safari > Preferences > General tab > look in the bottom section for downloads. Change "Save downloaded files to" to the Desktop.
It is IMPERATIVE that you continue to clean up your downloads, whether they are in the downloads folder, on your desktop, or in any other folder that you designate. Keeping your computer clean and free from clutter will keep you organized and make your computer happy!
