This first year teacher is making a name for herself over at Krause Elementary School! Nikki Phillips is not one to shy away from using technology - even if it's with her second graders! She's a faithful SMART Board user and has her kids up at the board working daily. She also checked out the netbook cart for her students to use Microsoft Excel to calculate the cost of building a "pretend" bridge. We had her second graders using formulas, formatting cells and printing their spreadsheets! Way to go, Nikki! Thanks for not being afraid to step out of the comfort zone and to demonstrate that even elementary kids can do big technology!
