Kameron Stelter is a health teacher at Brenham Junior High School. Knowing her students need to connect with current information, Mrs. Stelter always seeks creative ways to make learning meaningful. Her current project involves the dangers of illegal drug use. Using the tool Animoto, students create presentations to process information researched about different drugs. Since computer lab time is very hard to come by at the junior high, Mrs. Stelter is having students use their own devices to create the animoto using the mobile app! She also has students in a different setting creating the presentations on Chromebooks. The project is well planned and allows for collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Students are highly motivated to succeed. Great teaching, Mrs. Stelter!
