Not long ago, it was popular to say "Failure is not an option." Now it seems that failure is much more acceptable as people realize that failures do happen, and what's important is that we learn from our failures. The word failure is a popular topic now in education with the acronym FAIL which stands for First Attempt In Learning. Do you provide a safe environment for your students where they are allowed to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes? Challenges and failures are part of life.
