Teaching Tip Tuesday: Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset (thank you, Mr. Bryant!) #BISDwired @BrenhamISD

Last week Mr. Bryant, BJHS Principal, shared a wonderful video with his staff about having a growth mindset, a concept that has been developed by Carol Dweck.

This video discusses the difference between having a fixed mindset and a growth mindset.  The strategies and examples are relevant to us as parents, but also as educators!

I strongly encourage you to watch this 8 minute video.  See if you can employ some of these strategies in your own classroom to encourage students to see their potential and focus on the effort rather than the outcome.
