Making History relevant to students is crucial to their understanding of the importance of those events. Jennifer Fuchs does a great job of that in her U.S. History classes while also incorporating technology in her lessons. Students participate in web quests using sites such as The Price of Freedom: America at War, take virtual tours of locations such as Ellis Island, review lessons through Kahoot, and present lesson topics with LovetoKnow. Her students often used Google Presentations in research projects.
They participated in classroom simulations for World War 1 and while studying government. Good teaching and technology!
