Tech Tip Tuesday: #eCubSafe Tip of the Week - Location Sharing

Tech Tip Tuesday: #eCubSafe Tip of the Week

Fall is a very busy time for students to be out and about, especially with Halloween this week.  So teach them to BE SMART about their safety.  While they often have no problem sharing their locations with their friends, they may not always share with the people they need to most, such as their parents or guardians.  Life360 is a great app for families to use to keep track of where everyone is.  It even shows the battery's power status of those in your circle.  Obviously, if the phone dies, then you won't be able to share a location.
On the other side, make sure that when posting where they are to their friends that it isn't public to anyone. Location sharing can be a double-edged sword if not careful.

Speaking of Halloween, if you haven't used Gimkit lately, you are missing out on the 👩 HUMANS vs ZOMBIES!!! 🧟‍♀️  game mode.
In this special Halloween themed Mode, students are split between two teams: the Humans, and the Zombies.
Each team starts off with 700 out of 700 health, but 1.5 health is automatically decreased every second. The team with the best strategy to survive wins!
Available only through this week.
