Tech Tip Tuesday: #eCubSafe Don't Be a Troll Meme Contest

What is trolling?

Trolling” refers to the practice of antagonizing others online by deliberately posting inflammatory, irrelevant or offensive comments, or other disruptive content. Some of the characteristics of online trolling include:


  • Deliberately making hurtful comments on social media
  • Ranting on social media
  • Offensive name-calling
  • Purposefully embarrassing someone
  • Threatening, stalking or harassing someone
With that said, now is the time to do something to stop trolling. And who better than your students. Check out the “Don’t be a Troll” meme contest by Imperio Software, who are looking for creative, powerful messages that we can share with students about why they should not be a troll.
