Hilee Draehn is a real Tech Star! She frequently uses technology in fun and innovative ways in the classroom. Recently, her third graders learned about the Constitution by using iPods to read QR Codes. The students went on a treasure hunt around campus and found QR Codes that gave them the information they needed to make a booklet about the Constitution. The next tech project for these 3rd graders involves geocaching where students will learn about the Statue of Liberty. Mrs. Draehn has also done podcasting with her students and she maintains a blog for the 3rd grade reading teachers. Congratulations, Mrs. Draehn, for being a Tech Star and a Tech Leader!
