Appy Hour Fun!

We had our first Appy Hour yesterday and it was a lot of fun. We shared apps and snacks and laughs. We created a list of 41 great apps that were new to most of us. Jerry Newman shared Friday Night Football Scores - a handy app that works a LOT better than the newspaper or radio, and Tracey Curlee showed us some fun educational apps including Face Jack that lets students animate their own photos to talk. In addition, people learned some other useful tips and tricks for their iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches. Mary Ann Miron (BHS) and Tracey Curlee (BMS) were our Smackdown winners and each received a $15 iTunes card. We plan to host another Appy Hour in the future. Hope you'll be able to join us!
