| Carole Purvis helps a student |
Carol Purvis is a WOW! Teacher and "WOW" is just what you'll say when you visit her classroom. Ms. Purvis' 4th graders use Chromebooks for many of their lessons and it is truly amazing to see how engaged and happy they are learning with technology. Carol has taught her students some rather sophisticated techie concepts along with the appropriate vocabulary. She and her students correspond by email, and they use Google Documents to turn in assignments on a regular basis. In addition, Carol is always on the lookout for cool new software that will help her students learn. She has been instrumental in implementing STEMscopes this year for 4th grade science at Brenham Elementary. These are just some of the great things that make Ms. Purvis a Tech Star!
