Wade Womack, AP World History teacher at BHS, has his class Going Google! Coach Womack was introduced to our new Google accounts in September. Since then, he created a class group and now assigns major projects to his students through the group. His most recent project involves a webquest of the Maya, Chaco Canyon, and Mali. Students will research these three groups and complete an comparison matrix. Then, they will write a thesis comparing two of the civilizations to understand why they collapsed. The best part of the project is the "Learn More" section where students can extend their comprehension of one society.
Coach Womack is a model of integration by encouraging students to use technology in their own way and own time. Great job, Coach Womack! We appreciate you.
