We usually try to post only free websites and tools on this blog, but "A Story Before Bed" is so amazing, an exception must be made! "A Story Before Bed" is a subscription website that hosts over 500 childrens' books. The premise is that a parent or grandparent can record themselves reading the book. The recording is saved to an account and can viewed by the child anytime. You can try one recording for FREE. Look at the bottom of the site's homepage.
More impressive to me was the connection to Google+ Hangouts. The Story Before Bed app can be added to the hangout and a small collection of books are offered for free. Worth a look!
