Fab Find: MailDrop - Save Your Inbox from Spam

It's the time of year when we try to find new ideas for our classrooms.  When a website requests your email address, do you experience slight fear or distrust?  If the information being sent is NOT PRIVATE, use MailDrop instead of your real email address.  Here is how it works:

1.  A website asks for an email address, you enter any email name and "@maildrop.cc".
(Example:  kims.shoppingtrip@maildrop.cc)

2.  Go to the maildrop.cc website, enter your temporary email address on the top and check your mail.

3.  If no messages are sent within 24 hours, the mailbox is automatically deleted.

4.  If you build trust with the original website, then go back and enter your real email address.

Just a reminder that anyone could possibly use the same email name as you; therefore, there is no security for this site.
