One of my favorite ideas from TCEA 2016 was the "License to Remix." Richard Byrne, author of Free Technology 4 Teachers, suggested giving each student one ticket to redeem at some point in the year to remix an assignment. This is NOT a "free homework" pass. This does NOT exempt the student from doing the assignment. However, it DOES encourage creativity and critical thinking and allow the student to rethink the assignment and submit a different product to showcase learning or demonstrate mastery!One of my favorite ideas from TCEA 2016 was the "License to Remix."
