In teaching, being efficient makes life easier and your classroom run smoother. Here are two tips that other teachers do:
1) Label and number your Chromebooks.
It doesn’t matter how you do it (with a garage sale sticker, with a label maker, or with a Cricket). Students can easily grab the number Chromebook that they are assigned to, and if your Chromebook were to end up in another classroom, then they would know which teacher the Chromebook belonged to.

2) Post your Google Classroom codes in your room all year long.
Throughout the school year, new students join your classroom and some students leave your classroom. Or, sometimes schedules just get changed. Instead of having to go back to your “Student” tab in Classroom to fetch the code for your new student, direct the student to your posted codes on the wall.
