On Thursday, October 19, I was able to attend an AWESOME afternoon professional development opportunity at Ault Elementary School in CyFair ISD. Great way to conduct a PD session! It was informal, festive, not mandatory, and there was FOOD! It was conducted as a mini EdCamp, where we could all freely share educational, and instructional ideas, tips, and strategies. Joining me were some fantastic educators:
Megan Puckett @aggiepucket
Megan Breidenthal @MBreidenthal
Jamay Johnson @Jamaymiyuki
Stephani Ingvardsen @mrs_ingvardsen
Travis Brown @mrbrowndanish
Danielle Haymes @deehaymes
Spencer Barfuss @HooverPhysed
Joey Kirkland @kirkland_edu
Meredith Akers @meredithakers
Tom Spall @tommyspall
Dorie Glynn @doriedance
Here are some of my favorite highlights from the breakout session:

Here are some of my favorite highlights from the breakout session:
- Virtual Fieldtrips via Cicl.org
- This seems like a very cool site for collaboration opportunities with other school districts, professionals, and experts in their fields!
- #PersonalizedPD Opportunities
- We discussed upcoming EdCamps,
- PD in your PJ's
- Student or Parent EdCamps
- Coffee EDU
- Bite-Size PD (15 min PD sessions)
- Restaurant Rotation PD (You choose a restaurant, everyone meets up, you eat and share ideas). Then rotate to another restaurant for the next PD event.
- Using the app Aurasma
- Great app for VR and Augmented Reality opportunities.
- And Plenty of more! HERE:
