Required vs. Optional in Google Calendar
Have you ever found yourself saying, "Wow, I've been saying they should have this for years now...". Yes, No? Well, I've been wanting this option when creating a Google Calendar event for years!
Sometimes when I make a Google Calendar event... I want to "invite" other guests, but more as an FYI rather than an actual required invitation to a meeting, or event.
Now you can! you can click on the little person icon next to each name and decided if attendance for the individual is required or optional. So AWESOME! When the recipient receives the invite, it will let them know if their presence is required or just and fyi optional invitation.
