Must Know Monday: How Do I Remove the Floating Smartboard Tool?

A couple of colleagues have asked me how do you remove the floating Smartboard tool on my laptop. Most teachers still use the Smartboard functions, but just don't like the floating tool bar hanging around when they are trying to work on their computer. This is a simple trick that I learned from our technology technician, Martin.

To remove it (it is actually just hiding it):

1. Go to your task bar in the bottom right-hand corner. Click on the blue Smartboard icon.

2. From the list, click on Hide Floating Tools.

*If you want the floating tools back, you can repeat the steps and choose "Show" instead of "Hide" the tools.
