Yo Teach! let's you title your room and password protect your room, as well. It can also let you have admin rights.

According to an Edutopia article by Beth Holland, a backchannel chat in the classroom is "a digital conversation that runs concurrently with a face-to-face activity -- provides students with an outlet to engage in conversation."
