With so much technology being used in this 2020 school year, our computers and wifi have been used more than ever before. Sometimes, your device may be running slow or something is not loading for your students. What can you do? Here are some best practices and troubleshooting tips that help us.

My computer is running slow:
*On a Windows laptop, in the bottom left corner, click in the search bar. Type "updates" and click enter.

*In the window that pops up, click "check for updates" button. If it says that you are all up to date, please still click "check online for updates from Microsoft Online" link in blue.

*Let the updates run in the background, and restart the computer when the updates are finished.

My student or teacher Chromebook is running slow:
*Open the Chrome browser, click the three dots in the top right corner, and click downloads. Click the three dots in blue, and click clear all.

*Open the Chrome browser, and click the three dots in the top right corner, and click "more tools" and click "clear browsing data" button. Then click "Advance" tab, and change to "all time" button. Lastly, make sure everything is checked except "passwords," if you save your passwords.

*Finally, if all else fails, reboot your computer. It really works!!
