Fab Find Friday: Student Created Bitmoji Slides

When the Bitmoji Slides hit the teacher world, it was amazing for teachers. There were Google Classroom headers, there were Google Form headers, and there were Google Slides that were made for every classroom. It was a lot of fun for teachers, so you can imagine how it was for students to try.

Did it take some time? Yes! Did the students have to learn some technical skills? Yes! However, now that they know how to do it, we can incoporate it more throughout the school year.

Students in Mrs. Ruiz's AP Human Geography classes picked a religion to research. They will need to know an assortment of religions around the world for their AP test at the end of the year. Students partnered up and created Google Slides with a purpose. In the Google Slides, students hid pictures that revealed information about their religion. Students made a Google Form to correlate with their Google Slides. In the end, students exchanged Slides for their classmates/peers to do a scavenger hunt on their relgion. They had to find the answers to their Google Form in their hidden Google Slides.

The creativity that the students put into their Slides was amazing, and they not only learned more about the religion they chose to study, but they learned about their peers' religion while doing the scavenger hunt.
