Web Tool Wednesday: WICOR Stategy + Technology= One Pagers with Jamboards
One of the AVID WICOR strategies we use a lot is one pagers. AVID defines one pagers as- "a creative response to your learning experience." After reading a text or learning from instruction, then students create one page with important information they have learned.
Some points that are asked for in a one pager (can vary by teacher)-
*title
*images
*two quotations from text
*the main idea
*symbols
*questions with Costa's Levels
*vocabulary words
It is good to switch up between digital and non-digital. When thinking of a way to do a one pager digitally, use Jamboard in a group or individually.
