Fab Find Friday: Inspiring Quotes and Tech/Instructional Tips for Teachers

At our last faculty meeting, we put some inspiring quotes and tech/instructional tips (WICOR, Fundamental Five, Instructional Strategies, and Instructional Tech Tips) for our teachers. Here they are-

In Classroom Screen, add a picture of a vacation or something you have done recently in the background to spark conversation in your classroom. Students want to hear stories about your life to know you are human too. 

Celebrate your small wins.

Use the WICOR strategy “Talking Chips” to get everyone in your class talking.

Have students create a one page on what you just taught or what they just read non-digitally or digitally using Jamboard or Canva.

Play catch the slip up. Put two correct answers and one wrong answer on the board, and have students catch the “slip up” answer.

Review with a game of Blooket. You can use a stack already created on Quizlet to import into the game, so you are not creating it from scratch.
