Web Tool Wednesday: Powtoon Refresh
Powtoon has been around for a while, but there are some changes and some upates to this tool. There is a paid version and free version. We will explore the free version because in the education world we always look for free items for our classroom.
You or your students can create up to a three minute video. You can choose from paid and free templates. Then you can publicly publish your url link to share with others.
How does it work?
1. Log in with your Google account.
2. Click on "templates" button.
3. Use a template that is not labeled "pro" button.
4. Add text and images.
5. Delete and edit slides.
6. Click the share button for others to view.
It has lots of other cool features, but that is the basics for a student or teacher just starting with Powtoon. Mrs. Schulze and Coach Williams offered this tool as a choice for the upcoming presentation, so stay tuned to see the students' creations.
