Page Marker: Google Chrome Extension

I just recently learned about this awesome Chrome extension this past week from one of our New-To-BISD educators, Kimberly Travers. She used this Chrome extension in her old school district. This tool allowed her the freedom to quickly engage students while teaching a whole group lesson.
I'm talking about Page Marker. Page Marker allows the user to click on the Chrome extension and write over websites, documents, etc. via the Google Chrome browser. You can add the Page Marker extension by clicking HERE and going to the Chrome web store.
I've always used SMART Notebook and it's Transparent Background options. This has always allowed me to have an "overlay" on top of my Chrome browser. However, instead of having to open my SMART Notebook software, this Chrome extension quickly allows the user the ability to write all over the Chrome browser. Another benefit to this Chrome Extension, is that it allows students the ability to write on top of their Chrome browser via their student Chromebook devices. Win, Win!
