Here are 34 effective strategies for teachers via @EdAdvanced. This great blog post was written by Jenna Defazio, a Customer Success Manager from Education Advanced. Jenna highlights 34 effective strategies that you can instantly start implementing in your classroom today!

One of my favorite teaching strategies that Jenna highlights is number 10 (Think-pair-share). I used to use this strategy all the time when I was teaching in the classroom. Here is a quick breakdown of think-pair-share:

Think: Quietly think about how you will answer the question.

Pair: Sit across or near another student and face your partner. (There are many digital ways to group your students. I love using Flippity.net or ClassroomScreen.com to pair up my students.

Share: Share your thinking with your partner. Only one person talks at a time.

This instructional strategy is a great opportunity to have your students collaborate together and have engaging conversations. Enjoy both this strategy and the other 33 that Jenna highlights for you.
