Add Invitations AUTOMATICALLY to your Google Calendar!

Add Invitations Automatically to Your Google Calendar!

I'm not sure when I originally did this little change in my Google Calendar a few years ago, but recently a teacher asked me if this was possible.  I told her yes, as in, "Yes, my calendar has always done this to events I'm invited to."  So after looking up where this setting was, I'd like to share with you all this awesome Google Calendar Tip.

Typically, calendar events from others are only added to your specific calendar only after you respond to the email notification.  Here is how you typically RSVP to an invite:

When this option is changed from "When I respond to the invitation in email" to "from everyone" in your Google Calendar Settings, all invitations are automatically added to your calendar no matter what.  Below are the instructions in how to make this event settings change in your Google Calendar Settings:

Here are some more pictures walking you through this process:
Start by opening your Google Calendar and clicking on the Settings Gear:

Next, change the invitations setting to "From Everyone".

There you go!  Now every time you receive a calendar invite from someone else, you'll automatically see that calendar event in your own specific calendar.  No more having to worry about missing a meeting or event!
