Ginger Chrome Extension, An Alternative To Grammarly

Are you looking for an alternative to pricey Grammarly? Try out Ginger Chrome Extension! I recently had a Blinn College student educate me on this extension. Similar to Grammarly, Ginger will check your spelling and grammar. In addition to this feature, Ginger also recommends AI-based Synonyms, a Rephraser to boost your creativity and style, and can translate many different languages. 

  1. To try out Ginger, open Google Chrome (this will work best on your teacher laptop for teachers in our district) and go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions?hl=en
  2. Type in Ginger in the search box and press enter. 

  3. Click on Grammar and Spelling checker by Ginger.
  4. Click add to Chrome.
  5. Click add extension.
  6. If you're successful, you will see this page load:
