Are you looking for an alternative to pricey Grammarly? Try out Ginger Chrome Extension! I recently had a Blinn College student educate me on this extension. Similar to Grammarly, Ginger will check your spelling and grammar. In addition to this feature, Ginger also recommends AI-based Synonyms, a Rephraser to boost your creativity and style, and can translate many different languages.
- To try out Ginger, open Google Chrome (this will work best on your teacher laptop for teachers in our district) and go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions?hl=en
- Type in Ginger in the search box and press enter.
- Click on Grammar and Spelling checker by Ginger.
- Click add to Chrome.
- Click add extension.
- If you're successful, you will see this page load:
