How To Convert Excel (CSV/XLX) Files To Google Sheets

Have you ever opened a program to download a report only to find out that report downloads as a .CSV or a .XLX? Do you not have Excel on your computer? No problem! Google Sheets can handle it.

For a .XLX

In your Google drive, find the +New button. Select File upload. Then find the file you want to open. Click open and wait for it to load, this may take a few moments.

For a .CSV:

After you have downloaded your report, you are going to go to Google Drive.

Click on New. Then file upload.

Next, locate the file you want to upload. Click on it and press open.

Once the file has been downloaded, click on the file where it appeared in the right-hand bottom corner of the screen.

The file will open in a new window. Along the top bar, you will see a button that says "Open With Google Sheets", click on that.

And voila! Your file is now a Google Sheets document. You can share, edit, and do all the Google things to it now!
