Crowd Buzzer: The Digital Buzzer!

Are you doing some end-of-year review? Maybe you planned a fun game and need a buzzer. Let me introduce you to Crowd Buzzer, the digital buzzer. Crowd Buzzer is free for teachers and students.

There are several ways to access Crowd Buzzer. You can go to their main page, here. This page has a tutorial, a demo, how to host, and where to send players.

If you're the host, you can skip right on ahead to the hosting website.

Once there, you'll need to come up with a title for your game and press begin. Next, you'll want to share the join code with your players. And that's it!

When students join, they can go to the join site here. To join, they will enter the join code from your game and press join.

They can enter a player name or team name. The team name is optional. Their player name will be what you as the host see.

When students join they will see a big red button. After you ask or display a question, all they have to do is press that red button! There are two red button options students may see. It might say join or buzz.

On the host side, the names will appear in rank order of who first buzzed in. You will toggle the buzzers on and off to reset them for each question.

And voila, you have successfully hosted your first Crowd Buzzer game!
