Digital Sound Boards For Your Classroom!

Digital Sound Boards For Your Classroom!

A while back during one of our monthly Geek Week PD presentations, we showed the participants some awesome digital sound boards that we found online.  The two that we shared were built into Google Slides by the amazing, Candance Buchanan (@CandyTechldeas).

These digital sound boards can be used during your classroom instruction to help keep your students engaged.  Some examples include:

  • Using these story boards during daily class activities, transitions, or small groups.  Use them as audio cues to rotate groups, congratulate or cheer on a student, or as timers during student questioning.
  • These story boards would also be awesome when conducting read alouds for sound effects, or having your students create imaginative stories/skits and utilizing the sound boards throughout their retellings and/or presentations.
  • Using these story boards during class quizzes or friendly competitions for sounds effects or buzzers.

Here are the two sound boards that were created by Candance Buchanan:

Along with these two awesome sound boards, I recently stumbled upon this AMAZING sound board website that folks use for D&D games and other RPG style board games.  The website is called, Table Topy, and the link is tabletopy.com .  This website is awesome for story telling, retelling, plays, skits, and creative writing.

Enjoy!
