As we prepare students to move through K-12 and into the "real world", what kind of skills will they need to be successful at their jobs or in college? Think about how often you send an email, use a spreadsheet, or type a document. Google Applied Digital Skills was created to teach students these basic 21st-century skills they will need to thrive outside of K-12 education.
There is an awesome trend on TikTok with teachers having students create Google Slides presentations on a topic that they are interested in and present it on Fridays. The Explore a Topic tab would be great for this trend!
There is also an extension activity with this applied Digital Skill that allows students to pick from topics like STEM, food, or sports.
