Introducing Go Pangea By PenPal Schools

Go Pangea is an app and web-based tool that allows students to communicate with students from across the world. Teachers can create questions or use existing questions. Students respond to the question and each other.

Above are some sample questions already posted on Go Pangea. Go Pangea has partnered with amazing companies such as Time For Kids and National Geographic.

Above, you can see an exchange between two students. The student on the left answered the question posted by their teacher. The student on the right responded to them. The great thing about Go Pangea is that all posts by teachers and students are monitored by real people at Go Pangea in order to ensure your students are safe online!

So how would I personally use this in the classroom? I think this resource would make a great bell ringer. Students can easily log in on their Chromebooks and answer the question for the day. You could encourage them to respond to someone from another country. This platform also serves as a great model for digital citizenship.
