Are you overwhelmed by all the artificial intelligence (AI) out there yet? Are you wanting to try out a new one? Google is starting to release by invitation-only access to their AI named, Bard. I recently received my invitation using my personal Google Account. They currently are not allowing Bard with any Google for Workspace account. This means that teachers and students will not be able to access it with their school accounts, for now at least.
If you want to give it a try, visit bard.google.com to sign up for an invitation.
Like ChatGPT, Bard asks for you to type a prompt. There are suggestions listed at the top that change every time you visit the site. Unlike ChatGPT, Bard takes a moment to think and then posts the answer all at once.
Also unlike ChatGPT, you can view other drafts created by Bard.
So if you have the time and mental space to test out a new AI, give Bard a whirl!
