Add A Bit Of Spice To Instructional Strategies

Have you seen the instructional playlist from Lead4ward? This 70+ page document has so many amazing ideas for assessing your students. The list gives you detailed instructions on how to do each task in the classroom and includes a photo to show you what it looks like in the classroom. The one thing this resource lacks (currently) is how to mix technology with these instructional strategies. This just takes a little creative thinking though. For example, the "What's on your plate" strategy can easily be turned into a Google Slide that you can share with your students. Here's how I made mine:

Let's look at another example. On page 71, SNAP-tastic could easily be "spiced up" by having students create it in Google Draw. Students could even go a step further by going to Get Emoji to insert emojis on their Google Drawing. Instead of folding the paper up and "sending it through cyberspace" students could post their drawings on an LMS (Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, etc).
