Tech Star: Jennifer Dalman (BES)

Last year Jennifer Dalman, fourth grade teacher at BES, received a set of Flip video cameras from the Education Foundation to use with her students in an effort to move toward paperless teaching.  This year, she decided to take another step and use Spelling City with her students in lieu of running endless copies of spelling lists and spelling tests.  Spelling City is a great, FREE site that allows students to enter in their spelling words (or teachers can enter in clas lists) to play games, take practice tests, and even take actual spelling tests (with printable reports!).  Click here to watch a short video about Spelling City.  Thank you, Mrs. Dalman, for making an effort to bring web 2.0 into your classroom and also conserve our districts' resources!
